Acts 3:16 “And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.”
Truly, the name of the Lord is a strong tower, but no righteous man can run to it except through faith. The event concluded in this opening text marked the beginning of the exploits the apostles did, and we can infer, that through their faith, they propagated faith.
Have you ever called the name of the Lord and it seemed nothing happened? You need to be sure you called in faith and not in formality. Do you know that a dictionary actually referred to a word, ‘Jesus’ as an exclamation? That is not the same as the name we call. The name works wonders but it acts on faith.
Talk to God: Father, help me to realize the full potential of Christ’s name by faith in Jesus name, amen!
