Proverbs 18:10 “The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.”
There is power in the name of the Lord, it is a strong tower for the righteous to find shelter from every danger. When the adversary, the devil wants to destroy a man, the first thing he takes from him is the place of refuge found in calling God’s name, prayer. As many truly say, ‘a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian’.
Beloved, calling on the name of the Lord in prayer is running to the stronghold of His power, where He shields all who truly depend on Him. The power from on high comes to be at your disposal when you call on Him. Be prayerful, ceaselessly.
Talk to God: Father, strengthen me never to be tired of calling on your name in Jesus’ name, amen.
