James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”
When we go to God in prayer, there is a sense of surrendering we should go with. It should not just be because we feel we cannot handle a situation, but because we desire His intervention, in this is humility.
God loves to see the humble in heart, and so, when He sees you approach His throne as one powerless over his own situation, He sees reasons to help you, and lift you up. It is that simple, humble yourself before Him, let Him lift you up.
Talk to God: Father, erase in me every pride that would not let me surrender my all to you in Jesus’ name, amen.
