1 Samuel 15:22 “And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.”
Of a truth, God dwells in the praise of His people, however, the sacrifice of a sinner is an abomination to God. If we refuse to obey the Word of God, our sacrifice of praise cannot be acceptable to Him.
Beloved, as much as praise is important, obedience comes first. You cannot claim to praise God when your life does not regard Him by obeying what He says. If you desire the wonders of praise, praise in obedience.
Talk to God: Father, teach me obedience in my daily walk with you in Jesus name, amen.
