Psalms 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.”
Praise has a lot to do with our thoughts and actions but even more importantly, our obedience to God is the beginning of praising Him. In this opening text, we see an instruction that will make God be exalted, our stillness.
This shows that obedience matters than whatever actions you may see fit. An important aspect of praising God that must not be missed is obedience because that is what makes us praise right. Worship and praise in obedience.
Talk to God: Father, teach me to obey even as I will to praise you in Jesus name, amen.
