2 Corinthians 10:5 “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;”
In the actual sense of it, our surrender to God is in itself a weapon. It arms us with the fullness that comes with the readiness to serve Him and this also is the weapon needed for what our opening text says, “casting down imaginations…”.
When you let God break you, He releases the grace you need to neglect every other thing that tends to take His place in your heart upon you. This grace is an enablement, but it still takes your will to make use of it, would you cast everything else down?
Talk to God: Father, by your grace, I cast down everything that could struggle your place in my life with you in Jesus’ name, amen.
