Matthew 13:45-46 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.”
The Kingdom of God is an unparalleled treasure, it is invaluable. Today’s text is Christ’s illustration of what must be done to claim it.
As the merchant sold all that he had, you too must learn to first let go all that you hold dear in the light of seeking His Kingdom. What could be impossible for you to let go for His Kingdom?
Talk to God: Father, help me never to hold on to anything that would deny me of my place in your Kingdom in Jesus name, amen.
