Romans 6:17 “But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.”
The faith we profess is not complete until it is backed up by action in obedience to God’s word. So many people receive the word, but only those who receive and obey in faith get the reward.
Beloved, obedience is what ascertains your faith in God, and if you cannot do His will, you cannot please Him. Obey your Maker.
Talk to God: Father, help me to hold firm to my faith in obedience to your word in Jesus name, amen.
