James 4:3 “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”
It is possible that the reason a prayer is said is the hindrance to it. Asking amiss is a costly error in praying, and it common when a prayer is not Spirit-led.
Beloved, prayer is more sensitive than many take it, when you pray, each word must be guided, not out of the desires of the flesh but according to God’s Spirit who knows His mind. Pray heed, he guided when you pray.
Talk to God: Father, let your Spirit guide me that I may never ask amiss in Jesus name, amen.
