Matthew 5:24 “Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.”
Today’s text highlights a very common reason why many people’s prayers are not answered. God is too Holy to behold unrighteousness, and going into His presence with grudges however little they may be, makes us unworthy of His presence. In such cases, such prayers are not acceptable in His sight.
Some prayers do not get to God at all because they are prayed in disobedience, be careful to observe and obey God’s word when you pray.
Talk to God: Father, help me never to bear grudges into your presence at any time in Jesus name, amen.
