John 3:14 “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:”
The longer the cross, the heavier it is, but also the higher it stands. The devil may tempt a believer to trim his cross in the face of trials, “why wait for God’s time when you can cut corners?”.
If Christ trimmed His cross, He would not have been lifted for mankind to be saved. Though your time of trial might seem long, God is at work in you.
Talk to God: Father, help me to always wait on you for the right time in Jesus name, amen.
