Topic: Forsaking the Cross
Matthew 10:38 “And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.”
What if Christ forsook the cross? He had the power to save Himself from the suffering. Thank God for His sacrifice, we have salvation because He bore the cross.
You may at some point be pressured to let go of your cross, but without it there can be no glory ahead. If you forsake the cross, the bible says you are not worthy of Christ. Do not let go.
Talk to God: Father, help me to never neglect or forsake my cross in Jesus name, amen.
