Matthew 26:28 “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
The work of salvation done through the blood of Jesus has brought about deliverance, liberation, adoption among so many other things: the blood carries power. In today’s text, we see Christ talk about a New Testament.
Hebrews 9:17 shows how He must be sacrificed for the New Testament to hold. Nothing else could be the medium but the blood of Jesus. Hold on to His covenant.
Talk to God: Father, help me to remain grounded in the covenant of Christ’s blood in Jesus name, amen.
