Psalms 115:1 “Not unto us, O Lord , not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.”
God wants His children to reflect His glory but also importantly, He does not share His glory with anyone (Ish 42:8). When God works through us, we must remember we are only reflecting His Light and give Him the glory.
When a man begins to think more of himself and ignore the source of his light, he risks loosing it. If you are privileged to be a carrier of His glory, remember to always point people to Him, “it is the Lord’s doing”.
Talk to God: Father, help me to always remember to return all the glory to you as you use me in Jesus’ name, amen.
