Goliath was a huge man and he damn looked scary. So that day at Succoth, the company of Saul and army of Israel paid attention to Goliath’s threatening words and fear gripped their hearts. They forgot their God and all they could see was Goliath and it is impossible to win when all your focus is on the problem not God!
Satan has a way of magnifying situations to get our undivided attention and when you allow the enemy to shift your attention to his schemes, he paralyzes your faith. Because whatever you pay attention to dictates your mood and your mood determines your approach to life. This week, pay attention only to the word of God and speak faith.
