Luke 21:36 “Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man”.
Christ taught His disciples to pray and throughout His ministry on earth, He was given to prayer. Watching and praying is another culture we should learn from Him.
Even as at few hours to His arrest and crucifixion, Christ still taught these virtues. If Christ is your father, His traits would be found in you, rather than slumber and be caught unawares, watch and pray always.
Talk to God: Father, help me to watch and pray always in Jesus’ name, amen.
