Romans 7:1 “Know ye not (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth?”
The law is a set of guidelines by which the people of God in the old testament lived so that they could please God. However, it turned out not to suffice because God’s intention is to write His commandments on the tablets of our hearts and not of stones.
Grace came through Christ Jesus so you would no longer depend on the law to please God, everyone crucified with Christ is no longer bound by the law, he is dead to it. Be alive to righteousness by grace.
Talk to God: Father, help me to depend totally on your grace for righteousness in Jesus name, amen.
