Topic: Why ‘Jesus’?
Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
God sent Christ His Messiah to deliver the world from sins, and gave Him a name, divinely pronounced by an angel in Matthew 1:21. Why should the name ‘Jesus’ be the one with which believers get in touch with God?
Today’s text answers this question. God had the salvation plan drawn out long before the fall of man, the name which answers to His purpose was what God gave to you to use for exploits, what a beautiful name!
