Genesis 3:12 “And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.”
God knows all our needs and desires yet, there is a need to ask before we receive. The defense of Adam in today’s text resulted from God graciously giving him what he needed even though he did not ask.
This does not mean that God does not still grant desires even before you ask but it is a laid down principle to ask before receiving. And so, because He is attentive, willing and able to grant your requests, ask, keep asking.
Talk to God: Father, help me to always depend on you for all my needs and to rightly ask in Jesus name, amen.
