Hebrews 2:18 “For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted”
A relief we have when we face temptation is that Christ has been tempted, He knows what we are going through and is disposed to helping us through the situation. This is an assurance of victory, giving us reasons to trust in Him.
Christ understands your weakness, and would not have you be broken by it. However, there is a need for you to cry for help so that He may help you to overcome your temptations. If Christ was victorious over the temptations of this world, so can you.
Talk to God: Father, help me to trust in you to be victorious over any temptation I face in Jesus name, amen.
