1 John 2:1 “My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:”
No man is able to independently maintain his own salvation, it takes the right heart state, actions and over all, it takes God. God does not give up on us when we stumble, He gives an opportunity to every sinner to find their way to Him.
If you stumble, the grace that brought you salvation can still restore you because Christ the Advocate is still at the right hand of God. This is not a license to sin but a call to depend more on God’s grace for sure standing salvation. Pray for sustaining Grace.
Talk to God: Father, grant me grace to sustain my salvation in Jesus name, amen.
