Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”
One of the most difficult sermons to preach is that persecution, suffering and hatred from people are part of the what comes with identifying with the name of Jesus.
You cannot claim to be a child of God and not be rejected by some set of people, because you are no longer a part of them. In fact, if associating with Jesus’ name has not changed anything about the way people look at or relate with you, check your Christianity.
Talk to God: Father, give me grace to endure whatever comes my way for your name’s sake in Jesus name, amen.
