Acts 2:38 ESV “And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Baptism is very important for every believer: some records of salvation in the New Testament shows confession was followed by baptism, it signifies dying and resurrect with Christ.
However, any baptism not done in the name of Jesus has lost its importance. If you are not yet baptised, ensure you do, it might be the key to a closed door.
Talk to God: Father, let my life experience the true meaning of baptism in Christ’s name, amen.
