Topic: Why Prayers Seem Unanswered
I John 5:14 “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:”
There is power in praying, and it could be frustrating when we pray without seeing the results. Many have in such trying times denied the faith and chosen to follow another path, the end of which is destruction; but why do prayers often seem unanswered? There may be several reasons to this, and one of these is found in today’s text.
Asking in accordance with God’s will is one of the prerequisites of having answered prayers. It is important to pray, but it is more important to know God’s will and pray in line with it. If your prayers do not bring results, first check to be sure if it is God’s will to have what you ask for.
Talk to God: Father, help me to know your will and pray in line with it always.
