2 Corinthians 11:3 “But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.”
Jesus Christ described the devil as a liar and the father of all lies, his subtilty is one of the greatest weapons he uses to turn the hearts of people away from God and approaching Him in prayers.
Man’s fall started from the point where Eve began to have a conversation with the devil. If you give ears to his lies, it would be difficult to think straight and believe the truth of God’s word. Christ teaches us to pray always, do so diligently.
Talk to God: Father, please teach me to always ignore the devil and focus on your truth in Jesus’ name, amen.
