Hebrews 7:19 “For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.”
People who rely on the vanity of laws and human laid doctrines do not find the reason to draw near to God or ask Him for help. Such was the case of the Israelites in the time of law when they preferred that God spoke to them by Moses rather than a direct conversation with Him (Exodus 20:19).
Beloved, when you prefer to hear God through people rather than pray and have a conversation with Him, you are creating an unnecessary gap between you and your Creator. God wants to speak to you, are you willing to have a better relationship with Him? Pray!
Talk to God: Father, I desire to always communicate with you as a child to a father, encourage my heart to do so in Jesus’ name, amen.
