James 4:3 “Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.”
A preacher once said, “prayer has never failed anyone”; this is perhaps difficult to understand, but the truth remains that God hears everyone who calls on Him wholeheartedly. Why then are some prayers not answered? This calls for another question, what is the state of our hearts when we pray?
You see, God is very much concerned with the heart condition more than the lip service and the drama people act when they claim to pray. You cannot expect to receive from God when your heart is not right with Him. A heart disconnected from God and His will mostly ask amiss, know your God.
Talk to God: Father, please help me to always align my prayers to your will in Jesus’ name, amen.
