Acts 19:13 “Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the LORD Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.”
Using the name of Jesus involves identifying with the owner of the name. Those who do exploits with it are known by the devil and His cohorts and they respect that authority.
However, if you are not deeply in touch with Christ, the authority in the name might not work for you. Develop a deep relationship with your Maker.
Talk to God: Father, help me to live a life that pleases you in Jesus name, amen.
