Topic: When you Pray…
Matthew 6:6 “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.”
Men go to war standing on their feet, a Christian commands victory on his knees. One of the ways we allow the devil to cheat us is, we ignore the secret place and prefer to fight for our right only with our physical strength, this is more like ignoring the spiritual weapon for the carnal.
When you pray, going into your closet, you leave out the agitations and struggles of trying to justify yourself before men and you put the Great Advocate to work. Why should you be troubled when He has it covered? Let God take over.
Talk to God: Father, help me to trust you to sort out all my situations rather than rely on my physical strength in Jesus’ name, amen.
