Matthew 4:16 “The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.”
One of the missions of Christ Jesus on earth was to deliver mankind out of darkness and the horrors of death it brings. It was His coming that liberated us from the slavery Adam and Eve consented when they contacted darkness through sin.
Beloved, this same message of light that saved you is still potent to save others, and this is what the Light of the world wants, He still shines for all who will be led to Him. What role do you play in spreading its illumination?
Talk to God: Father, help me to be a vessel to spread your light abroad in Jesus’ name, amen.
