Hebrews 11:6 ‘ …for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.’
Most times, it is easy for us as humans to make assumptions and jump to conclusions, especially when we think we can handle the consequences. Faith is not the same as this. Faith ascertains even against odds.
Dearly beloved, you cannot assume you are God’s own if you are not certain of your relationship with Him. Do you truly know and love God? Faith confirms your answer.
Talk to God: Father, help me rid of any unhealthy assumptions in my life in Jesus name, amen.
