Psalms 125:2 “As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever”.
Another mystery of walking before God is that, God is not just behind those who walk before Him, but all around them. That is why He can go before them to fight for them or hold their hands through storms.
When you walk before God He is found at the centre of all that concerns you. You would never have to walk alone.
