I John 5:4 “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
Being born into the family of God is already an assurance of victory. We are not born of flesh and blood but through faith in Christ Jesus. God’s word says we have overcome the world, meaning we can live in victory.
Because the victory is a function of faith, faith is needed to remain overcoming. You need to hold on to your profession of faith in Christ and life in Him, you are a victor.
Talk to God: Father, help me to hold on to my faith in you to remain victorious in Jesus name, amen.
