Genesis 22:2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.
Abraham’s response to God’s call in today’s text was obedience without question. While he must have wondered why the request came, He did not hesitate to follow the instructions.
God requires obedience without questioning from you, and this level of trust in God is what makes you a part of His friend. Do you obey without questioning?
Talk to God: Father, help me to always obey without questioning your instructions in Jesus name, amen.
