Genesis 22:2 “And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of”.
Walking before God is in stages. When God saw this Abraham had become insistently obedient, He confronted Him with a greater challenge.
Your Christian journey is progressive, not static. When you overcome a temptation today, know for sure there will be greater ones ahead. Keep trusting and walking before God.
