Topic: Through His Refinement
Zechariah 13:9 “And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.”
A seemingly uneasy prospect of making is refinement; God taking His chosen vessels through fire to bring out the best in them. A piece of gold would not be reflective until refined, we cannot reflect God’s nature until we are taken through this process.
Beloved, the end of every making process is that you become more like Christ, the refinement fire and all that God takes you through is perfectly necessary for you to become so. He promises, however, to be with you through thick and thin, be at rest.
Talk to God: Father, as you work on me, help me be still in Jesus’ name, amen.
