Malachi 3:3 “And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.”
Studying the process of refining silver, it was discovered the silversmith needs to put the silver in a very hot spot, and while this goes on he watches over it so it is not over heated (Read more here: https://entrance.com.ng/the-refiners-touch).
The fire God takes you through is to purify you of all impurities and at the end, His image is shown on you. The process of making turns you to become like Him, restoring the likeness of God’s life, hold still.
Talk to God: Father, though the fire of refinement might not be easy, help me to hold still as your grace takes me through in Jesus’ name, amen.
