Mark 4:20 “And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.”
Receiving the Word of God is important, receiving it on a good ground (a well prepared heart) is the most important of our interaction with God’s Word. The expected end of the sower’s sowing is that there would be fruit, this is the manifestation of the power in God’s Word.
How much are you influenced by the Word of God? The impact its power has on you is a question of the heart with which you receive it. If you want to bear fruit, receive the Word on a good ground, prepare your heart!
