Matthew 2:1-2a “Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews?”
We have previously established (according to Ps 53:2) that God looks down to see those who seek Him. Today’s text refers to them as the wise.
In a perverse and dark world, it takes a wise man to seek God. Knowing that He gives direction and leading and those who following Him never miss out. Are you still seeking Him?
Talk to God: Father, please help me to be wise in Jesus name, amen.
