Luke 13:8-9 “And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also… if it bear fruit, well : and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.”
Although a fruitless being is not God’s delight, He always considers His investments and as such gives chances of repentance to wayward children. God wants no one to perish.
What would become of the tree in today’s text if it does not fruit in the end? May you not be cut down. Make use of your God given resources to bear Him fruit that He may delight in you. Make the Father proud always.
Talk to God: Father, make my life remain a sweet fragrance unto you in Jesus’ name, amen.
