Psalm 17:6 “I have called upon thee, for thou wilt hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me, and hear my speech.”
When we call on God in a genuine act of prayer, it follows our trust that someone listens, such as we see in today’s text: The Psalmist was convinced that God would hear him when he call, and this is the rationale behind every heartfelt prayer.
Prayer signifies trust in God, and you need to be fully persuaded He pays attention when you call, else you may lose interest in calling on Him. Even when it seems God is not there, He hears you, do not be weary to call on Him.
Talk to God: Father, help me to fully trust you as I pray in Jesus name, amen.
