John 10:18 “No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father”.
A sacrifice always comes from a willing heart, not from a forced commitment. When Jesus decided to lay down His life, He chose to, so that we might be saved. There is no greater price a man could pay!
God did not hold back His only begotten son but gave His blood for your atonement, so that you can in turn be a living sacrifice for Him. It should be your choice to live for God, a sacrifice.
Talk to God: Father, give me a heart that sacrifices in Jesus name, amen.
