Genesis 17:1 “And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect”.
Abraham heard the call to obedience and followed God (Gen 12:1). But God required even more, so He called him to perfection.
Even though Abraham had obeyed God, he listened to his wife and had a child through her servant; hence the need for a reform. It takes God’s righteousness to receive His Covenant.
Talk to God: Father, help me to walk in perfection as you guide me In Jesus name.
