Hebrews 4:12 “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
God revealed Himself to men of the Old Testament, and Christ, the mediator of a New Covenant was and is the perfect revelation of God. God still reveals Himself today in diverse ways, one of these is through His Word.
The Word of God is powerful and filled with His inspiration: there is no form of His revelation that does not conform with His Word. In fact, a way to confirm that God is behind a revelation is by checking it with His word. Remain conversant with it.
Talk to God: Father, help me to be a reader and doer of your Word at all times in Jesus name, amen.
