2 Corinthians 13:5 “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”
The time of refreshing is also a period to retreat and cross-examine. No one instantly backslides, it is a gradual degradation. A believer who often examines himself with the light of God’s word is less exposed to the risk of falling.
Even in your journey of exploits, ask God for a refreshing, you may need to be re-equipped and the refreshing comes handy at such times. Remain teachable in God’s army.
Talk to God: Father, help me to remain teachable in your hands in Jesus name, amen.
