John 2:11 “This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.”
In this text, Christ manifested His glory, first for His own disciples to believe. Studies show that the moon has no light of its own. What we see at night is a reflection of the sun through the moon. As children of God, we too, are made of such material that we can reflect the light and glory of God, this is our duty, our commission (1 Peter 2:9)
If an object is not in contact with the light, it cannot reflect it. It is clear, therefore, that we can only reflect the Glory of God when we come in contact with it. The disciples had to see it before they can do it. Have you been in contact with the Glory?
Talk to God: Father, help me not to be ignorant of your glory that I might manifest too in Jesus name. Amen.
