Acts 8:19 “Saying, Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the Holy Ghost.”
The power of God is unlimited, and is freely given to man. But there are conditions we must fulfill to be partakers of this power, a key condition is, identity.
Simon, the sorcerer in today’s text (verse 9), wanted the power, but had not identified with Christ, so he offered to ‘buy’ it. Know who you are in Christ.
Talk to God: Father, help me to never lose my identity in you in Jesus name, amen.
