Exodus 24:8 “And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.”
One important significance of blood is that it is used as the medium of covenant between God and man. In the old testament, the blood of animal represented covenant, but Christ’s blood mediated an even greater covenant.
The blood of Jesus is a seal of covenant upon all who believe in Him. They are bound to stand in obedience to God’s commands to remain in the covenant. Are you still under the Covenant of His blood?
Talk to God: Father, help me to ever remain under the covenant of the blood of Jesus, amen.
