Matthew 5:7 “Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.”
One of the lessons we learnt from the life of Christ is to be merciful. The blessing we will obtain from being merciful is that God will also show us mercy.
When mercy is at work you will receive what you do not even merit. Mercy is the factor that brings about pardon for sin, and God intervention in near-miss cases. Would you not rather desire His mercy?
Talk to God: Father, please let your mercy envelope my life in Jesus name, amen.
