Joshua 7:1 NIV “But the Israelites acted unfaithfully in regard to the devoted things ; Achan son of Carmi, the son of Zimri, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of them. So the LORD’s anger burned against Israel.
Victory often relates with taking spoils. When God gives us victories, there are rewards that follow, as the enemy is forced to let go of possessions. The time of taking spoils is a time of celebration but also requires caution.
A believer is not meant to rejoice at the fall of another man, even if such a person has offended you. In the time of victory, be cautious, Achan is a classic example.
Talk to God: Father, please help me to be cautious in taking spoils in Jesus name, amen.
